Bordered by North Huntingdon and Hempfield Townships in Westmoreland County, Sewickley Township is a bedroom community where most residents are employed outside of the township. Rolling hills and farmland define the mostly rural community. Herminie is considered the hub for most businesses in the Township and is also home to Crabapple Lake Community Park and Pool.
